Kevin Coolidge on Saturday October 2 will highlight his book Rebecca, White House Raccoon.
This free Program starts at 3 p.m.
The Ontario County Historical Society (OCHS) is excited to announce that children’s author Kevin Coolidge will talk about the Raccoon that lived in the White House during the Coolidge Presidency. This program which will be hosted in the museum at 55 North Main Street Canandaigua, will begin at 3 p.m.
The program will consist of a PowerPoint presentation and after we will allow time to further discuss pets in the White House and in our own homes. Anyone who attends will be able to walk through the museum to see our current exhibits. Admission is free.
Coolidge is the owner of From My Shelf Books & Gifts in Wellsboro, Pennsylvania. His book will compliment our current exhibit in the museum: “Our Family Companions: The History of Pets in Ontario County.”
