“The hard hitting, bluesy guitar riffs Chris hammers out combined with Jocelyn’s gravelly, honey-smoked vocals, which are similar to a young Fiona Apple and the talented Grace Potter, are wonderfully matched.” – Lemonade Magazine
“The Arndts sound like they were raised on 60’s rock records, and would enjoy having a drink with the ghost of Janis Joplin” – New York Scene Report
Siblings Jocelyn & Chris Arndt are creating a new generation of authentic album rock. The two will be touring with their band this summer and will appear this Saturday, July 22, at Rio Tomatlan in Canandaigua at 6 p.m.
Backed by a killer band onstage, their recordings feature special guests including G. Love, Gov’t Mule’s Danny Louis, Beau Sasser of Kung Fu, and legendary session players Alvin Moody, David Baron, and Ilya Toshinsky.
Their sophomore full-length Go was released to radio in April. It was Billboard’s #5 Most Added Single to AAA Radio in the US. The album’s lead-off single “Footprints on the Moon” reached #64 on the FMQB AAA Top 100 after five weeks with airplay coast to coast.
In May, Go debuted at #2 on The Jambands Top 30 Album Chart.
Jocelyn & Chris’ debut full-length Edges and follow-up live album 30,000 Miles reached #14 and #8 respectively on the Relix Jambands Top 30, taking their first single “Shame” into the FMQB AAA Top 200.
In December 2016, Jocelyn & Chris released Still: A Holiday Collection, a 6-song holiday EP. Comprised of both time-honored classics and more modern additions, including their original holiday song “Still,” the EP premiered via Baeble Music.
Together with their band, Jocelyn & Chris have logged performances across the country, including stops at The Sundance Film Festival, Mountain Jam Music Festival, SXSW, CMJ, The Viper Room and Hotel Cafe in Hollywood, Milwaukee Summerfest*, The Birchmere in Alexandria, and numerous other top venues and events. They’ve provided direct support for Vertical Horizon, Delta Rae, Little Feat, Marc Cohn, the Gin Blossoms, Rick Derringer, Denis DeYoung, Sunny Sweeney, Here Come the Mummies, Roger Clyne & The Peacemakers, Pat McGee Band, and Shannon LaBrie.
*In July, Jocelyn & Chris won the audience vote for “best band” on the emerging artist stage at Summerfest in Milwaukee.
