After sitting closed from 2008 to 2015, it was Jenny and Denise who restored its purpose — starting entirely from scratch and rebuilding the business with care, grit, and genuine affection for their adopted community. In the ten years since, they have made it thrive.
The decision to sell was not an easy one. After a decade in New York, the pull of home has grown too strong to ignore, and Jenny and Denise have made the heartfelt decision to return to their hometown in Germany. They are not closing a chapter so much as passing the torch — and they are determined to find a buyer who will love this store as much as they have.
Time is of the essence. The store will continue operating as normal through August 31, 2026. A buyer who acts before then will step into a fully turnkey operation — building, inventory, equipment, fixtures, and a loyal customer base all included. If no buyer is secured by September 1st, a Going Out of Business sale will begin, with all stock, equipment and building sold off individually. Once that process starts, the opportunity to purchase this as a turnkey business is gone for good.
