Browsing antique shows is a year round pastime in the Finger Lakes region. A favorite of many savvy shoppers looking for a collector’s item or period piece is the 20th Annual Canandaigua Classic Antique Show & Sale returning to the Finger Lakes Gaming and Racetrack, 5857 Route 96, Farmington, New York on Sunday, February 10, 2019 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will be over 40 quality antique dealers displaying their goods. The show is conducted in partnership with the Kiwanis Club of Canandaigua.
Appraisal Opportunities: In addition to checking out the antiques, find out more about one of your own. From 11 to 2p.m. H. Price Prazar will provide a verbal appraisal of antiques, books and collectibles for an extra fee.
Show Sponsors and proceeds: Earnings provide scholarships for college-bound high school students in Ontario County and a first year Finger Lakes Community College student. Grants are also awarded to non-profit groups in Ontario County for programming that supports the arts. Past recipients include the Finger Lakes Plein Air Festival, Bristol Valley Playhouse, the Honeoye Public Library, and the Cheshire Grange restoration project. Getting there: To reach the Finger lakes Gamming and Racetrack from the north, east or west: Take NYS Thruway Exit 44 to Route 332. Travel south 2 miles and turn left on route 96 (Second traffic light). As you are facing the building, the entrance to the antique show is on the FAR RIGHT
